The middle and later Neolithic periods see the development of beautifully made, bifacial arrowheads. These are normally called ‘leaf’ arrowheads, from their often close resemblance to the leaves of the willow tree. They are found throughout the world with perhaps the very highest quality workmanship being seen in those produced in the area covered by present-day Denmark.
